All Ages, All Levels, casual (but intentional) weekly game of ultimate frisbee
This is an opportunity for you to have a radically different experience with team sports than ever before
All levels are welcome here. You will be supported to develop your skills at whatever pace you wish
We play with the vision of: When you win, I win
We follow 3 basic Ultimate Frisbee rules:
You can’t run with the frisbee (you pass it to your teammates to progress down the field)
If you drop it, it is a turn over (possession of the disc goes to the other team.
In order to score/end the point, you must catch the disc in your end zone
This particular game is a beautiful experiment in how to support everyone to be at their edge for growth and improvement. If you are naturally athletic, you are invited to step into a role of teammate or "coach" and explore creative (and gentle) ways to support others to shine. If you are new to the game, the group will support you to understand the flow of the game and develop helpful skills that will make the game more easy and fun.

We meet on the west side of San Pablo Park in Berkeley every Tuesday afternoon (Summer, Spring, & Fall)
We have warm ups from 4:30-5 which includes throwing, jogging, and chatting
At 5pm we review the basic rules of Ultimate, meet each other, and start the game.
When we have 7 or more folks we play 3on3 or 4on4 with lots of subs. We have frequently had enough people to play 5-5 6-6 and even 7-7 sometimes
We play until around 6:15/6:30.
If you can only come for part of the time, you very welcome!

As the founder and lead coach, I offer this game as a fun way to play with others.
I started playing ultimate in 2002 while attending Ohio University. I loved being on a team, having an easy excuse to exercise, and learning the strategy of the game.
I am not as athletic as I used to be, but I am still a coach, and I offer my experience and love of the game to you, in hopes that you will have a bit of fun with us!
Over the past year, many regulars have stepped up into more leadership in the team. I am so excited for you to meet and be apart of the community we have co-created!
Sometimes Shakthi leads us in stretching!
One happy customer
come play with us!
